Lead Climate Researcher Opportunity

Oxford Economics, a leading global economic research and consultancy firm, is seeking a highly skilled Head of Climate Research to join our expanding Climate Modelling and Scenarios team based in both Oxford and London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing climate research strategies, leading the development of climate research reports, and providing insightful analysis to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in climate economics, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability to communicate complex ideas to a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement climate research strategies to meet client needs
  • Lead the development of climate research reports and briefings
  • Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to clients
  • Support business development and growth initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality research products

Requirements:

  • Master's or PhD in economics, environmental science, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in climate economics or research
  • Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
