Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Private Client Adviser to join our team. As a key member of our Private Client Services department, you will provide high-quality tax, trust, and succession planning advice and services to clients within specified guidelines and service levels.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Exceptional Client Service: Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure timely and efficient delivery of high-quality advice and documentation that meet client needs and adhere to agreed service levels.
- Stay Compliant: Understand and comply with relevant internal Compliance, TCF, T&C, Financial Crime, and Customer Due Diligence procedures at all times.
- Stay Informed: Maintain awareness of relevant product, legislative, and technical changes, ensuring these updates are reflected in provided advice and services.
- Key Accountabilities:
- Provide tax, trust, and succession planning advice and services, drafting documentation and client communications related to areas such as Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trust Deeds, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, income tax, tax returns, HMRC forms, trust and probate accounting, and estate administration.
- Manage a caseload of clients and files effectively, communicating with all parties to deliver excellent client service.
- Deal promptly with referrals into the department, identifying new business development opportunities, and attending networking events to develop relationships with potential client referrers.
- Maximise commercial value by ensuring client needs are fully met, adhering to Departmental procedures, and responding to requests from Senior Management within stated timelines.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Company to maintain joined-up services and strengthen client relationships.
- Maintain accurate records, including audit trails, and complete file progress reports on time.
- Pursue continuous professional development through training events, private study, and formal qualifications like STEP.
- Effectively utilise available IT software and capabilities.
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this role is between £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience and location. This figure is based on industry standards and takes into account factors such as cost of living, market conditions, and the level of expertise required for this position.
