Low Voltage Operations Lead

About this Role
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Low Voltage Operations Lead to join our Engineering operational team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the control, maintenance, project delivery, and compliance of the low voltage systems on site.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in critical banking environments and M&E delivery, with a strong understanding of commercial electrical systems design and installation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on the oversight of low voltage installation works within the Citigroup centre portfolio, ensuring compliance to all statutory regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with key project stakeholders.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures.
- Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of systems.
- Positively impact the low voltage systems operation and maintenance.
- Embed and manage CBRE SSOW and controls to an auditable standard for the low voltage systems on site.
- Ensure high-quality delivery of PPM and reactive works to meet SLA.
- Understand and implement QHSE policy requirements.
- Embed and review risk assessments and audit H&S compliance of teams working on infrastructure.
- Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works.
- Develop a good working relationship with all members of CBRE staff and clients.
- Management of CBRE sub-contractors works, ensuring accurate PPM task completion.
- Coordination and reporting of remedial actions associated with CBRE partners.
- Continual surveillance of low voltage systems and all works undertaken on the premises.
Requirements:
- C&Guilds or Higher NVQ level 3 qualification
- Health & Safety qualification - NEEBOSH/IOSH or similar
- HVAP/LVAP Authorised person
- Experience within Critical Banking
- Experience within M&E delivery
- Electrical engineering qualification
- Demonstrable experience & understanding of Health & Safety
- People management skills and team building experience
- Good communicator, financial acumen, presentable, articulate
- Well-organised with good prioritisation and planning skills
- Service-oriented attitude combined with innovative thinking
- Self-motivated with a high level of personal integrity
Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum
