Ai Brainer's AI Innovation Leader

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Sr. Associate - Machine Learning Engineer at JPMorgan Corporate Investment Bank. As part of our industry-leading team, you will advance the state-of-the-art in AI applied to financial services.

You will leverage research from Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and statistical machine learning to build products automating processes, helping experts prioritize time, and making better decisions. This role combines scientific research and software engineering, requiring a deep understanding of both mindsets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop robust Data Science capabilities scalable across multiple business use cases
  • Collaborate with the software engineering team to design and deploy Machine Learning services integrated with strategic systems
  • Analyse data sets using statistical and machine learning techniques
  • Communicate AI capabilities and results to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Document approaches, techniques, and processes to comply with industry regulations
  • Closely collaborate with cloud and SRE teams while taking a leading role in designing and delivering production architectures for solutions
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience in an ML engineering role
  • PhD in a quantitative discipline, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics
  • Track record of developing, deploying business-critical machine learning models
  • Broad knowledge of MLOps tooling – versioning, reproducibility, observability, etc.
  • Experience monitoring, maintaining, enhancing existing models over an extended period
  • Specialism in NLP or Computer Vision, including knowledge of open-source datasets and benchmarks
  • Solid understanding of statistics, optimization, and ML theory; familiarity with popular deep learning architectures (transformers, CNN, autoencoders, etc.)
  • Extensive experience with PyTorch, NumPy, Pandas
  • Hands-on experience implementing distributed/multi-threaded/scalable applications (including frameworks like Ray, Horovod, DeepSpeed, etc.)
  • Able to communicate technical information and ideas at all levels; convey information clearly and create trust with stakeholders
Estimated Salary:

$140,000 - $180,000 per year, based on location and experience.
