About the Role

MAC Cosmetics is seeking an experienced and inspirational Assistant Manager to lead our team of Retail Artists and contribute to the success of our store. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager to achieve sales, customer service, and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Retail Artists to achieve sales and customer service targets.
  • Support the Store Manager to drive sales growth and improve customer experience.
  • Contribute to the creation of inspirational in-store events and promotions.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the store, including inventory management and cash reconciliation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven retail management experience, preferably in the beauty or cosmetics industry.
  • Experience in setting sales and customer service targets, sales analysis, and staff scheduling.
  • Previous retail operations experience, including inventory management and cash reconciliation.
  • Proven track record of leading, coaching, and developing a team to succeed.
  • Experience in creating and executing in-store events and promotions.
  • Flexible availability across days and hours.
  • Proficient skill level using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proof of right to live and work in the country.
