Job Title: HR Partner

MCS Group is seeking a highly skilled HR Partner to join their team on a temporary part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional to contribute to the effective administration of HR functions and assist in the development of strategies and plans for the delivery of agreed objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies, including recruitment and training and development.
  • Provide guidance and support to line managers on human resource matters, ensuring compliance with Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland legislation.
  • Assist in the development, review, and updating of HR policies and procedures and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Act as an advisor on recruitment, advising on best practice and sitting on panels where appropriate.
  • Support the Head of HR in providing advice and support in grievances, disciplinary, and absence management cases.
  • Provide HR reports to meet the requirements of the Councils and Committee on subjects such as labour turnover, recruitment, absence management, and other reports as deemed appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
  • At least two years' generalist HR experience, including significant experience in advice-giving on employment issues and contractual documentation.
  • Experience of managing discipline and grievance cases.
  • Working knowledge of employment legislation and good practice procedures.
  • Experience of recruitment and selection.
  • High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Applications.
