Job Overview

Château de Mercuès is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As a senior culinary leader, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency in our fine dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and creative flavor combinations
  • Lead a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional service standards
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and supply chain management
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute special events and menus

Requirements:

  • Minimum of four years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a fine dining environment
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and achieving exceptional results
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and health regulations, with a minimum of Food Safety Level 2 certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
