Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Barratt Developments. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales performance and managing a team of Sales Advisers to achieve business targets.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a strong sales performance through effective management of the Sales Adviser team.
- Involvement in recruiting new Sales Advisors and ongoing training and development of the team.
- Prepare staffing rotas for developments, ensuring all holidays, sickness, etc., are suitably covered.
- Ensure the team complies with key sales processes, tools, and approaches.
- Manage non-compliance and underperformance in accordance with standard Group processes.
- Manage Scheme costs appropriately while promoting best practice and high-quality standards.
- Ensure divisional IT systems are fully utilised and advisers update the group internal IT system.
- Manage the database of CRM activity with the designated team, ensuring continuous improvement as measured by KPI performance.
- Oversee the implementation and launch of new sites, coordinating Marketing input as appropriate.
- Provide input to marketing campaigns for current and future developments.
- Facilitate marketing material, ensuring compliance with Group Standards and legislative requirements.
- Foster a culture of customer-centricity, focusing on delivering the right result for the customer and the Division as measured by its KPIs.
- Liaise with colleagues in divisions to ensure smooth delivery of the customer journey for developments.
- Point of contact for customer care issues.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Assist in research on potential and existing developments as required by the Sales Director.
- Report to the Sales Director on all aspects of Sales and legal completions.
- Manage the delivery and ongoing presentation of show homes and sales offices for developments, organising resources to achieve Group Standards.
- Promote and act in accordance with all Company values, systems, policies, and procedures.
- Process credit and debit card transactions or use of card data in compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
- A motivational team-leader focused on managing, coaching, and developing the team to achieve their full potential.
- Experience of sales delivery in a service environment, either in a similar role or as a high-performing Sales Adviser.
- Experience of cost control and planning, prioritising, and organising work to meet targets.
- A lateral and innovative thinker, an original problem-solver.
- Specialist knowledge of Sales/Marketing techniques, research, and analysis.
- A self-disciplined individual with excellent time management skills and flexibility to achieve results.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to deal with people from diverse backgrounds.
- A self-confident, decisive, resilient, and able to thrive under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
- Flexibility with working pattern and mobility across the Division; must be able to work weekends and bank holidays.
- IT skills, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
