Assistant Psychologist Learning Disabilities Services

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Psychologist to join our clinical team at Outcomes First Group, working within our Options Adult North Service. This exciting role will involve working under the supervision of a psychologist to carry out tasks that will involve group work, 1:1 work, research, audit, and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out tasks under the supervision of a psychologist, including group work, 1:1 work, research, audit, and evaluation.
  • Work within a supportive team together with other disciplines, including Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues in the wider care team around the people we support.
Requirements:
  • Psychology degree (2:1 plus MA/MSc or first).
  • Relevant experience of working with children and young people.
  • First-hand experience of quantitative and qualitative research, including different methods of data collection, research designs, analysis, and final report writing.
  • Experience of teaching and/or supporting other health professionals.
  • Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle.
