About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our dynamic and supportive HR team. This is a part-time role, working 30 hours a week over four days from Tuesday to Friday.

The role is based primarily on-site, but we do offer work from home days. There is a requirement to work from the office on Thursdays and there may be additional office-based work days required on other days throughout the week based on our operational need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex Employee Relations (ER) cases, including grievance and disciplinary procedures, absence management, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Take a lead role in managing Occupational Health referrals.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on ER issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment law.
  • Contribute to improving manager capability across all ER areas.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and deliver HR training sessions and workshops.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in HR, with a strong emphasis on Employee Relations, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Solid understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and disciplinary/grievance procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
