Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team at Safran Landing Systems in Gloucester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a world-leading organisation in the aerospace industry, driving continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to safer, more sustainable aviation.

About the Role

  • Active involvement in project identification, prioritisation, progress monitoring, tracking of results and reporting findings across the organisation using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Ensure all completed continuous improvement projects are embedded and sustained.
  • Actively engage with peers internally and across the group to ensure best practice implementation.
  • Use agreed metrics to validate the requirement for projects and recommendation of resource allocation.
  • Support the Continuous Improvement and Engineering Manager to drive a culture of continuous improvement within the organisation.
  • Support operational performance enhancement through the application of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Project implementation and management.

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrate competence of project delivery through application of continuous improvement practices.
  • Green belt qualified (not essential but desirable) aspiring to black belt or proven experience of project implementation.
  • Ability to manage and organise multiple projects at any one time.
