We are seeking a highly committed and passionate KS2 Teacher who is keen to ignite a real passion in students by providing a rich, varied, and exciting curriculum.

This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified Primary teacher looking to work in an Outstanding school with a strong focus on academic excellence and pastoral care.

The successful candidate will have the skills and drive to lead Mathematics throughout the entire school, starting in September. Strong communication and analytical abilities, as well as the ability to teach a fun-loving Year 4 or 5 class, are required for this position.

This 2-form entry school is located in a lovely residential area of Newham and is easily accessible via public transport. The school has a friendly environment that welcomes teachers from all backgrounds with open arms.

The school aspires to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through its supportive pastoral environment and excellent academic programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Teaching the Key stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses.
  • Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry.
  • Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications.
  • Experience teaching Upper Key stage 2.
  • The confidence to hit the ground running, proactively lead a class, and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies.
