Job Title: Sustainability Consultant - Energy Efficiency Specialist

About the Role:

As a Sustainability Consultant - Energy Efficiency Specialist at Penguin Recruitment, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients to achieve their sustainability goals. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working from home combined with the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and clients on-site when required.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct energy assessments and produce SAP calculations for residential developments.
• Provide expert advice on building regulations, energy efficiency, and sustainable construction practices.
• Engage with clients to deliver tailored sustainability strategies and solutions.
• Prepare energy and sustainability reports to ensure compliance with current standards, including Part L and Part O.
• Collaborate with the design and construction teams to integrate energy-efficient designs.
• Stay up to date with evolving regulations and best practices within the sustainability sector.

Requirements:

• OCDEA accreditation (On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor) is essential.
• Experience in Energy/Sustainability consultancy is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, including Part L and Part O.
• Experience using IES software for building performance and energy modelling.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality sustainability reports.
• Experience with SAP calculations and the ability to work with various software tools.
