We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Analyst to join our team at Newbury Building Society. As a key member of our Treasury team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Treasury in the management of the Society's liquidity, wholesale funding, interest rate positions, and treasury and ALM-related projects.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Head of Treasury in the management of the Society's liquidity, wholesale funding, and interest rate positions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of treasury and ALM-related projects.
- Produce accurate minutes at the Assets & Liabilities Committee.
- Work closely with the Treasury and Finance teams to ensure the highest quality service experience.
- Academic background in mathematics or economics and/or work-based experience of Treasury or Accounting.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft packages, with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience of working with internal and/or external customers to ensure the highest quality service experience.
- Prepared to study or studying towards relevant accounting or treasury-related qualification.
- General understanding of the financial services industry.
