Job Summary
A highly skilled Chief Financial Officer is sought to join York Archaeology's Executive Team. As a key member of the Board, the CFO will oversee the organisation's financial management, ensuring a secure infrastructure for its strategic objectives and charitable mission.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in financial leadership, governance, and strategic planning. They will be responsible for leading the finance function, managing legal matters, insurance, pension arrangements, and the organisation's property portfolio. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for engaging with colleagues and building effective relationships with trustees, stakeholders, and external partners.

This role offers a unique opportunity for a finance professional to contribute to an organisation dedicated to preserving and celebrating York's rich cultural and archaeological heritage. The salary for this position is estimated to be around £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
