We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic finance team at Principal IT.
About the Role:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Perform detailed reconciliations of bank accounts, ledgers, and balance sheets to maintain accuracy in financial records.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts efficiently, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Assist in debt collection and invoicing.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and contribute to the development of best practices within the finance team.
- Work closely with various departments to provide financial insights and support, fostering a collaborative working environment.
Requirements:
- AAT qualification (Minimum Level 3)
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role is preferred. Experience with accounting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
- A meticulous approach to work, ensuring all financial records are accurate and compliant with regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative attitude, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
