Job Description

**Job Title:** Nursery Manager

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate individual to join our team as a Nursery Manager at the MIChild Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our nursery, ensuring that we provide a high-quality education and care service to our children.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Leadership and Management:** Provide strategic leadership and management to the nursery team, ensuring that we meet the needs of our children and families.
  • **Operational Management:** Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery, including staff supervision, budget management, and resource allocation.
  • **Quality Assurance:** Ensure that our nursery meets the highest standards of quality, including compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding requirements.
  • **Staff Development:** Support the development of our staff, including training and professional development opportunities.
  • **Marketing and Recruitment:** Assist in the recruitment of new staff and promote the nursery to potential customers.

**Requirements:**

  • **Qualifications:** Minimum Level 3 qualification in childcare or a related field.
  • **Experience:** At least 2 years of experience in nursery management or a related role.
  • **Skills:** Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • **Knowledge:** Knowledge of childcare legislation, Ofsted regulations, and safeguarding requirements.

**What We Offer:**

  • **Competitive Salary:** £30,000 - £32,000 per year.
