Audit and Accounts Professional

We are seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join our team in Coventry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing onsite audit assignments from planning to completion, working alongside our Audit Manager and RI. You will also be responsible for preparing statutory accounts for partnerships and sole traders, as well as corporation tax computations and VAT returns for limited companies and groups.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee onsite audit assignments from planning to completion
- Prepare statutory accounts for partnerships and sole traders
- Prepare corporation tax computations
- Review VAT returns for limited companies and groups
- Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels to progress assignments and resolve queries
- Supervise junior staff, including review working and delivering training
- Build trusted client relationships, acting as their main point of contact to proactively handle queries
- Champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities where possible
- Work directly with Managers to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are always met

- ACA / ACCA / QBE qualified, part qualified, studying or with a desire to begin study
- Demonstrable experience within UK practice
- Proven track record of overseeing audits from planning to completion
- Hands-on team player who can also work autonomously
- Excellent work ethic, self-motivated, and reliable
- Exceptional communication skills and keen eye for detail
- Able to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and third parties
- Good awareness of current affairs and solid commercial acumen
