Healthcare Quality Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the patient safety and quality team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. As a senior professional, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic Patient Safety and Quality Improvement (PS&Q) team at corporate level across the organisation, responsible for the design, management and delivery of the Quality, Safety and Improvement Framework.
The successful candidate will have experience of analysing data to support and deliver quality improvement, as well as the ability to teach and support others in quality improvement principles, techniques and tools. They will also possess coaching skills and the ability to motivate others to high levels of performance.
This role offers the chance to work across 6 hospital sites, serving over 500,000 people living in Cardiff and the Vale. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of and commitment to equality opportunity and good working relationships both in terms of day-to-day working practices, but also in relation to management systems.
We estimate the salary for this position to be around £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include the opportunity to work with a diverse range of career opportunities and develop regional services.
