Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a secondary SEND School located near Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism and associated learning, communication, and behavioural needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support a small class of pupils working around age-related expectations
  • Develop and implement behaviour management techniques
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to create an inclusive and nurturing environment
  • Provide emotional resilience and support to students with complex needs
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children and young people
  • Specific experience working with children with Autism
  • Resilient attitude and range of behaviour management techniques
  • Team Teach trained (beneficial)
Eligibility:
  • Hold a Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references that cover the last two years
