Power Systems Team Leader

This is an exciting opportunity to join UKAEA's Special Techniques Group as an Electrical Engineering Manager. You will be responsible for leading the Electronics Design Team, driving the design, construction, and commissioning of electrical and electronic systems for UKAEA projects. With your expertise in electronics design (power systems, digital, analogue, programming, PCB layout), you will provide technical leadership and management support for critical systems, ensuring successful delivery of complex projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage direct reports, prioritizing tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring responsibilities and programme requirements are met.
* Develop detailed work packages and Gantt charts for larger projects, providing regular updates to the Group Leader on progress, challenges, and personnel workload.
* Manage job cards, service requests, and coordinate team involvement to forecast team workload and ensure a steady stream of UKAEA projects.
Requirements:
* A Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline, and relevant professional experience in an electrical/electronic engineering role.
* Strong expertise in electrical/electronics engineering, project management, and team motivation.
* Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, creating and assessing comprehensive work packs, and expertise in technical writing, specifications, standards, and testing.
