Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Claims Negotiator to join our Claims Operations team at ERS. As a Claims Negotiator, you will play a crucial role in negotiating the settlement of claims in an efficient, fair, and economical manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Claim Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations to clearly establish the circumstances of any loss and make appropriate liability enquiries.
  • Claim Validation: Validate claims and check all details agree with our records.
  • Account Management: Validate accounts/fee notes and authorise payments.
  • Estimate Management: Maintain accurate estimates throughout the life of the claim and make adjustments where appropriate.
  • Product Knowledge: Build expertise in our products and services.
  • Customer Liaison: Act as a key liaison, providing regular updates to customers throughout the process.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong relationship-building skills, clear, responsive interpersonal skills (written and verbal), and a keen eye for detail.
  • Customer Service: Demonstrate a deep understanding of good customer service and excellent organisational skills with strong prioritisation abilities.
  • Experience: Have experience of working in a legal environment and a Law degree or equivalent.
