Pan Pacific London is seeking a skilled Shift Engineer to join our Engineering team. As a Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical and electrical systems.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as experience with the Building Management System (BMS). You will be responsible for responding to job requests in a timely manner, maintaining the building and its services to the highest standards, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Have good working knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical systems throughout all hotel FOH & BOH areas
  • Have a good understanding of the (BMS) system and its operation
  • Respond to all job requests within a reasonable time as laid out within SOP's
  • Form part of the fire life safety team
  • Maintain the building and its services to the highest of standards
  • Assist and ensure all statutory regulations are met at all times
  • Work as part of a team and also on own using your own initiative
  • Focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times and ensure security and confidentiality of Customers and company information at all times
