Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the front desk and oversee the team, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Oversee reservations, corporate bookings, and liaise with the conference and banqueting team to ensure accuracy and billing.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Supervise and motivate the reception team, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Manage cash control procedures, ensuring accurate handling and reporting of monies received at reception.
  • Assist guests with sincerity and courtesy, ensuring prompt and efficient service upon arrival and departure.
  • Stay up-to-date with hotel services, facilities, and local area knowledge to provide informed and personalized recommendations to guests.
  • Review and implement rate level management principles to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Address and resolve customer service issues in a positive and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Reception Manager or similar role in the hotel industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of reception processes in hotels, including Opera management systems.
  • Effective ability to supervise and motivate staff to maintain optimal department operation and staff development.
  • Complete knowledge of hotel rooms and meeting-related services available to guests.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, exercising patience, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to operate Opera Management Systems for creating, changing, and cancelling reservations, pre-blocking, posting no-shows, and reconciling travel agency commissions.
  • Comprehension of the reservation sales process.
  • Ability to deliver training and demonstrate self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm.
