Key ResponsibilitiesProviding Specialist Support
  • Assess and manage communication and swallowing disorders in various settings, including the hospital ward and community environments.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
  • Evidence of specialist training and experience in communication and swallowing disorders, acquired disorders, teaching/presentation, audit/research, and specialist-level clinical reasoning.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and highly specialist analytical and problem-solving skills.
Salary and Benefits

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust offers a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, as well as an attractive benefits package.
