We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team as a Geography Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and A Level Geography.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have a good honours degree in Geography or a related discipline, along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). They will be committed to personal development, bring excellent knowledge of the subject, national curriculum requirements, and exam specifications. Strong organisational skills, a proactive approach to lesson planning, and effective classroom management skills are also essential.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons across KS3, KS4, and A Level Geography, fostering a love for the subject and high standards of attainment.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, shaping schemes of work and resources to ensure relevance and depth in line with national standards.
  • Participate in departmental activities, including field trips and enrichment programmes, to support a well-rounded learning experience.
  • Track and support pupil progress, providing feedback, and reporting to parents to ensure each student achieves their potential.
  • Act as a Form Tutor, offering pastoral support, promoting positive behaviour, and instilling self-discipline.
