This involves maintaining connections with relevant manuscript editors and external advisors, as well as taking the lead on high-profile projects. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of scientific research internationally and its practitioners, as well as excellent written English skills, particularly for science communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Commission and edit news articles for length, sense, accuracy, and accessibility
  • Maintain connections with relevant manuscript editors and external advisors
  • Take the lead on high-profile projects
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

  • A higher degree or beyond in the physical sciences, including full-time research experience
  • Broad knowledge of scientific research internationally and its practitioners
  • Excellent written English skills, particularly for science communication
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
