Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as an Activity Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a range of therapeutic, wellbeing and social activities for patients across the site.
- Work collaboratively with the occupational therapy team and ward staff to create a meaningful and engaging program of daily activities.
- Provide a programme of activities to complement the therapy provision, including entertainment and events.
- Listen to patients through conversation and questionnaires to support the production of a programme of events/activities/entertainment.
- Develop and maintain links with local community organisations to enhance the patient experience.
- Pre-plan and risk assess activities before they take place.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and creative individual with good communication skills and a desire to make a difference to the lives of the people we care for.
Requirements
- Organised and able to work independently.
- Experience working within the care sector, with a good understanding of patient needs.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
