About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead our 5-bedded childrens residential home in Dartford, providing high-quality support for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering effective care and management within a residential setting, ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide leadership and management to the residential team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • To develop and implement individualised care plans that cater to the unique needs of each resident.
  • To work collaboratively with external agencies, such as social services and healthcare providers, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • A recognised qualification in childcare or a related field, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years' experience working in a residential setting, preferably in a senior management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, residents, and external stakeholders.
  • A thorough understanding of child protection policies and procedures, including safeguarding and welfare.
