As the UK's leading provider of critical engineering services, March is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Assistant to support its financial operations. With a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with various accounting software, this role will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and assisting with day-to-day financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reports
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports
  • Cash Book control and forecasting receipts and payments
  • Petty cash reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end journals and reconciliations
  • Customer accounts reconciliation
  • Prepare invoices, process payments (in different currencies), processing timesheets and expenses
  • Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial information
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
Requirements
  • Previous experience within an Accounts role
  • Hold AAT Level 2 or equivalent
  • Experience running month end journals and reconciliations
  • Experience dealing with balance sheet reconciliations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise work in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
