About the Opportunity

As a Senior Wastewater Modeller, you will play a key role in our UK-based teams, reinforcing our existing team and further supporting our frameworks with UK Water Companies. You will have opportunities to support the delivery of programmes and projects at various stages in the project lifecycle, focusing on technically interesting projects both regionally and nationally from a northeast base.

About the Role

We are looking for a Principal Wastewater Modeller to lead our water sector initiatives, working closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that meet their needs. As a technical leader, you will provide expertise in network modelling, catchment strategies, and wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring project financial and schedule performance.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical leadership for network modelling projects, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
  • Line Management of project team members, driving staff performance, career development, and workload planning.
  • Implementation of innovative solutions, managing health and safety, quality, and environmental aspects of projects.
  • Delivery of wastewater catchment strategies and solutions, including flooding and CSO drivers.
  • Providing commercial leadership in project delivery, exceeding client expectations within agreed timeframes and budgets.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent knowledge of the water industry: Focus on wastewater network solutions, preferably with experience in integrated catchment modelling.
  • Technical proficiency: Proficiency in wastewater modelling software, such as InfoAsset Manager, InfoWorks ICM, ArcGIS & MapInfo.
  • Leadership skills: Strong technical ability, supervising, and leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and ensuring project financial and schedule performance.
  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in liaising with clients and managing projects.
