Project Overview

The Junior Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing projects and events to ensure timely completion, within budget, and meeting quality standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist and manage a range of projects across the organisation.
  • Monitor and report on project progression and collaborate with various teams.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project teams.
  • Ensure high-quality work with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Manage and deliver events both internal and external to GBS.
  • Research and organise information, producing accessible briefing documents.
Requirements
  • Degree in Project Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Ability to manage projects and events.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • High level of computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software (e.g., MS Projects, JIRA).
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (such as Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and formal certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, PMI) is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with outstanding attention to detail.
