Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking a Site Engineer to cover multiple sites in Inverness and the surrounding areas. The primary focus of this role will be to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and maintaining site control
  • Setting out of roads, sewers and structures
  • Ensuring compliance with works standards
  • Review of Project Design and Specification
  • Attending in-house progress meetings
  • Daily liaison with Engineering Manager, Contracts Manager and Site Supervisors
  • Direct point of contact between the client and the company
  • Receiving and assessing design changes from the client
  • Facilitating agreement of variations
  • Ensuring adherence with the company Skills and Competence Policy and Procedures
  • Organising labour and plant and materials for a number of projects
  • Undertaking Land, Stockpile and Construction Work Surveys
  • Setting Out Sites and Organising Facilities
  • Supervising Works
  • Ensuring Projects Meet Agreed Specifications
  • Liaising With Clients, Subcontractors and Other Professional Staff
  • Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings
  • Providing Technical Advice; Problem Solving
  • Ordering Materials
  • Attending Team Briefs
