As a highly motivated and innovative Junior/Graduate Designer, you will have the opportunity to join our team at Optima Systems in High Wycombe, working closely with our experienced designers to create effective and cutting-edge workspaces in some of the world's most iconic buildings.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree in design or interior spatial design. Experience using AutoCAD and Revit is desirable. The role offers a competitive salary of around £25,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a range of benefits including 25 days' holiday, private medical cover, pension contribution, and access to an employee assistance programme with excellent wellbeing benefits.

We are looking for someone who can provide design and technical support to all departments as required, while also identifying potential health and safety hazards associated with our designs and ensuring they are constructed and maintained safely.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing schematic and working drawings, primarily using CAD & Revit, as well as visiting sites to assess site conditions and attending design meetings. You will also be involved in project handover meetings, compiling design briefs, and revising and re-issuing commented drawings.

Your key responsibilities will include undertaking checking responsibilities for fabrication information generated by other design personnel, checking all elements to a project, including drawing schedules, general arrangement drawings, working drawings, and fabrication information. Additionally, you will provide design and technical support for all other departments as required.
