About the Role


We are seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to join our supportive team in Oldham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for supporting students in their educational journey.



Your Responsibilities


As a teaching assistant, you will assist the class teacher in delivering tailored educational support to students, including those with special educational needs. Your role will involve providing one-to-one mentoring and tutoring, supporting the educational and social development of students, communicating effectively with both students and teaching staff, and helping create a positive and inclusive learning environment.



Requirements



  • Experience working with children, especially those with special educational needs
  • Strong communication skills
  • Empathy and patience when working with students
  • Relevant qualifications in education or child development


Salary Information


The salary for this role is approximately £90 per day, making it an attractive opportunity for individuals looking to make a positive impact in education. As a member of our team, you will be expected to satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or completing an application for a new check.
