This is an occasional hours role to cover annual leave or absence in our kitchen at Agnes Court, a care home for adults with physical disabilities. We are looking for a skilled cook who can work nights and weekends to maintain exceptional levels of hygiene and cleanliness.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a night enhancement of £1.50 per hour from 8pm to 7am Monday – Sunday and a weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a kitchen environment and a recognised catering qualification, such as a Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate and additional HACCP accreditation, or a Level 4 Food Hygiene Certificate.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise staff assisting in food preparation and ensure efficient running of the kitchen.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, meeting Health, Safety and regulatory requirements.
