Job Description:
We're seeking a Commis de Cuisine to join our kitchen team, providing world-class service and hospitality to our discerning guests. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in maintaining the highest standards of kitchen preparation and execution, as well as participating in teamwork and fostering a harmonious working climate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in daily tasks, ensuring readiness for service and maintaining the highest standards of kitchen preparation and execution.
- Assist in daily setup and break down of the kitchen, ensuring excellent care of equipment and facilities.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to COSHH and HACCP regulations.
- Participate in teamwork and foster a harmonious working climate, embracing change and delivering top results in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong understanding of food hygiene and allergens awareness.
- Basic knowledge of hot and cold line operations, with strong knife skills and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of leadership, contributing ideas and taking ownership of responsibilities.
- Legal right to work in the UK and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Estimated Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is around £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on individual experience and qualifications.
