About the Role

Home Instead St Albans is seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Care Assistant. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and companionship to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations, play games, and build relationships with clients.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clutter-free and comfortable living environment.
  • Ensure clients take their medication as prescribed.
  • Prepare nutritious meals for clients.

Requirements

  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are essential.
  • A compassionate and caring nature.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits

  • Competitive rates of pay ranging from £13.75-£14.75 per hour.

  • Mileage allowance of 45p per mile.
