Job Title: Aerospace Production Engineer
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Production Engineer to join our team at Attewell Ltd.
As a key member of our technical engineering team, you will play a vital role in improving and expanding manufacturing processes within the aerospace industry.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of general manufacturing processes, including fabrication, CNC machining, and assembly processes. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and within a team environment.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying product requirements and researching testing methods.
- Analyse workflow, space requirements, and equipment layouts to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Provide engineering information and support to other departments as required.
- Assist in new and emerging manufacturing projects.
- Maintain product and process data through data entry and computer programmes.
- Degree qualified or equivalent in engineering or a similar field of study.
- At least two years' experience within an aerospace production environment.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and tooling concepts.
