About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Family Support and Safeguarding Team in South Cambridgeshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of Child in Need, Children in need of Protection, Public Law Outline and care proceedings, focusing on children up to the age of 18.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use a Motivational Interviewing approach to act in partnership with children and their families to achieve sustainable change and improved outcomes for children.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, including adult mental health workers, drug and alcohol recovery workers, and adult domestic abuse workers, supported by our practice methods.
  • Contribute to a stable, highly motivated and supportive team that is strengths-based and underpinned by relationship-based practice.
  • Participate in a hybrid working environment with a mix of office and home working, with an expectation of being in the office at least two days per week.
