About the Role
Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled and organised individual to join our team as a Special Care Paediatric Dentistry Co-ordinator. This role will provide administrative support to the Salaried Dental Services and Dental Hospital departments, working across Primary and Secondary dental services.
Main Responsibilities
The post holder will be responsible for managing clinic co-ordination, including booking appointments and maintaining patient records. They will also work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a high-quality service for patients, ensuring that waiting lists are managed effectively and that patients are booked in for appointments within Referral to Treatment Times (RTT) targets.
Key Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, organisational and administrative skills, and experience of using patient management information systems. They will also have knowledge of dental patient pathways and be able to work autonomously with the ability to problem solve and exercise initiative.
