Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Automation Engineering Trainee to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As an Automation Engineer Apprentice, you will work with our experienced professionals to develop your skills in automation engineering.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in automation engineering maintenance, working on various projects using Amazon's equipment, technologies, and facilities. You will receive comprehensive training and development, including classroom sessions, workshops, and on-the-job training delivered by our specialist RME team.

Key Responsibilities

  • To assist in the design, development, and testing of automation systems
  • To collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution
  • To participate in regular training and development sessions to enhance technical skills

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong interest in automation engineering and a willingness to learn
  • A deep understanding of PLC programming and electronics/electrical bias
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
