About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Advanced Level Hand Therapist to join our team at Nuffield Health. As a clinical expert in musculoskeletal conditions, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individual rehabilitation programs for patients with complex presentations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and coordinate individual rehabilitation programs for musculoskeletal referrals, working closely with the multidisciplinary clinical team.
  • Manage complex patient cases using a patient-centered approach, focusing on excellent customer satisfaction and achieving the best clinical outcomes.
  • Act as a point of clinical expertise for other healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support to facilitate the best outcomes for patients.
  • Review emerging evidence in the area of specialist knowledge and assist in integrating it into Nuffield Health's evidence-based pathways.
Requirements
  • BSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) with considerable post-graduate experience.
  • Relevant MSc and registration with the UK Health and Care Professions Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
  • Excellent clinical and analytical skills, with a highly developed knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions acquired through 5 years of clinical experience and post-graduate education.
  • Ability to assess complex conditions and manage the patient journey by making onward referrals to the most appropriate services.
