We are seeking a hard-working Civils Team Leader to oversee a team of groundworkers installing ducting, kurb lines, and concrete bases in preparation for our electrical team to install the cabling and EV chargers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and to our high standard.
  • Use a CAT4/GENNY4 for cable avoidance and read and understand construction drawings.
  • Operate 360 excavators, Dumpers, trench rammer, road saw, and other equipment.
  • Excavate and reinstate trenches through various types of soft ground, concrete, tarmac, and block paving.
  • Install twin wall ducting, draw pits, and precast concrete bases.
  • Build shuttering and cast complex concrete bases on site.
  • Install NAL sockets, crash protection, and lighting bollards.
Requirements:
  • Punctuality and a strong work ethic.
  • Motivation to produce high-quality work.
  • Ability to work away from home during the week when required.
  • Good team player with CSCS, NRSWA, SSSTS, CPCS/NPORS, and HSG47 qualifications.
  • Full UK driving license and experience working on CDM sites.
  • Experience supervising small teams and operating 360 excavators.
