Teaching Assistant Job DescriptionThis role involves supporting students in a variety of ways, including providing specialist support for those with special needs and contributing to classroom management.
Responsibilities- Support the teacher in managing the classroom and enabling access to learning for pupils.
- Develop and implement care and learning programmes for individuals or groups of students.
- Provide guidance and support to students to help them reach their academic goals.
- Experience working with children of relevant age.
- Knowledge of relevant policies and legislation.
- Understanding of child development and learning principles.
- Ability to assess learning needs and provide appropriate support.
The estimated salary for this role is £7,617 - £7,738 per annum (pro-rata), with a full-time equivalent of £24,790 - £25,183.
