Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert nursing care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring they receive the necessary support and guidance to provide high-quality care.
- Contribute to the development of our team, including participating in quality improvement initiatives and providing feedback to colleagues.
- Participate in the on-call rota, providing 24/7 coverage for our critical care unit.
- Registered Adult Nurse on the NMC register.
- 6 months post ITU Course.
- Health care management/leadership qualification.
- Substantial post-registration experience working in a complex healthcare setting/Acute NHS care setting, supervising/mentoring junior staff.
- Evidence of professional/clinical knowledge in the area, supplemented by specialist clinical and/or managerial training and CPD.
