Tax Consultant

Deloitte LLP is seeking a talented Tax Consultant (Assistant Manager / Manager) to join our Private Client Tax team in Cambridge. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with high net worth individuals, their families, and their businesses, providing expert tax advice and compliance services.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist Associate Directors, Directors, and Partners with client relationships, including technical delivery, project management, client conversations, and operational management.
- Exercise commercial judgement, making decisions on how to progress work, in consultation with Associate Directors/Directors/Partners.
- Prepare high-quality and technically accurate tax technical advice for clients and deliver this advice in a straightforward manner.
- Coach and mentor junior team members, helping them develop their skills and expertise.
- Coordinate the timely preparation and submission of tax returns to ensure clients' obligations are met.
- Take responsibility for the timely delivery of tax services to clients.
- Identify opportunities on existing accounts and contribute to the growth of our practice.
- Experience of advising high net worth individuals and/or professional practices on their UK tax position.
- ATT/ACA/CTA qualification or equivalent, with support available for the CTA qualification if not already held.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as sound written and oral skills.
- Experience of assisting in developing and maintaining client relationships.
