Octane Recruitment is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our client's workshop in Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work on various HGVs and contribute to the success of our client's business.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy goods vehicle maintenance, with experience working on diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. A solid understanding of health and safety procedures and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential.
The successful applicant will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing complex issues, and ensuring all vehicles meet the required safety and regulatory standards.
BenefitsThis role offers a competitive salary of £18 - £20 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Two shifts are available: Monday to Thursday 7am - 7pm or Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm.
