We are Octane Recruitment, a leading agency in the industry, and we have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic to join our client's workshop in Northampton.

Located in the heart of Northampton, this role offers a competitive salary of £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will work two shifts available: either Monday to Thursday 7am - 7pm or Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HGV maintenance and be able to perform routine checks, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs on heavy goods vehicles. In addition to technical skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Routine checks and maintenance of HGVs
  • Diagnostics and repair of mechanical faults
  • Effective communication with colleagues and clients

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in HGV mechanics or a related field
