Our client, a leading international business, is seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join their manufacturing accounting team in Northamptonshire. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to drive financial decisions and improve profitability.

About the Role

This Finance Business Partner position involves working closely with the Business Unit Controller to ensure consistent accounting practices and participating in the leadership team. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic financial analysis to inform business decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead regional financial reviews and P&L variance analysis to optimize performance.
  • Conduct detailed analysis for capital projects to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Manage accounting practices to maintain consistency and compliance.
  • Forecast logistics costs and inventory to enhance efficiency.
  • Mentor and coach the finance team to ensure alignment and succession planning.

The ideal candidate will be CIMA (CGMA), ACCA, or ACA qualified, with significant experience in strategy, management, and budgeting within a large manufacturing or distribution environment.

Salary and Benefits

This highly competitive role offers a salary of around £65,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a defined contribution pension scheme with up to 9% company contributions, an annual bonus plan targeting 12% based on company performance, and private medical insurance.
